Workshop Categories & Titles

ATworkshops offers professional development opportunities for AT Specialists, LD Specialists, Literacy Specialists, Special Educators, OT's, PT's, SLP's as well as other professionals.  Three categories of workshops are available:  Click on each workshop category for additional information and workshop titles.

#1 Open-Enrollment Workshops

Presentation-style or focused lab-based workshops sponsored by ATworkshops and open to all participants.  Designed to introduce participants to assistive technology or how to effectively use specific special needs software and assistive technology.  Registration fee per participant.

#2  School Co-Sponsored Open-Enrollment Workshops

Onsite, presentation-style or focused lab-based workshops provided by ATworkshops and co-sponsored by a school district or agency. Open to all participants.  Designed to introduce participants to assistive technology or how to effectively use specific special needs software and assistive technology. Co-sponsoring school district/agency provides space (auditorium for general presentations or a computer lab for specific software/hardware training) and receives a limited number of free registrations (dependent on overall paid pre-registrations).  Registration fee for all other participants.

#3 School & Agency Workshops

Onsite, presentation-style or focused lab-based workshops provided by ATworkshops and contracted for fee by a school district or agency.  Designed to teach participants how to effectively use specific special needs software and assistive technology.  Open to staff of the contracting school district or agency.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

In the event a registration has been received and that person cancels such registration at least 10 days prior to the workshop, the registration fee is refunded less a $30.00 administrative fee.  In the event a registration has been received and that person cancels such registration less than 10 days prior to the workshop no refund is provided.  This policy is the same regardless of whether the registration is made secured by personal check, credit card, or purchase order.

In the event ATworkshops cancels a workshop, a full refund will be provided to each registrant. In the event ATworkshops reschedules a workshop, each registrant has the option of either accepting a full refund or applying their registration and fee to the workshop on the new date.
